This fire extinguisher contains monoammonium phosphate, a dry chemical extinguishing agent that is nontoxic, inhibits re-flashing of the fire, costs less and is more effective than carbon dioxide, and is not easily dispersed by air currents. Note: Not recommended on computers or similar equipment. Easy to use on a fire: just remember the "P-A-S-S" method. Pull the pin on the fire extinguisher, Aim the fire extinguisher at the base of the fire (stand 6 feet from the fire), Squeeze the handle of the extinguisher, and Sweep the extinguisher left to right while aiming at the base of the fire.
